BIZU is a multidisciplinary creation centre which acts as a design studio and content-focused communication agency.
We think of form and content as an integrated whole and this allows us to conceptualize and develop projects with a difference for cultural, editorial and corporate clients.
Founded in 2007 by graphic artist and illustrator Ana Starling and journalist and musician Roberto Guimarães, the studio boasts a talented team of designers, journalists, planning professionals and administrative staff. Whenever the need arises, outside collaborators are invited to join specific work groups.
It is in a classic 1940s building with an old-fashioned gate-type door, veranda and tree-top view, just a few steps from Avenida Paulista in the heart of São Paulo, that Bizu creates and engages special projects for corporations that include Allianz Seguros, Natura, Philips do Brasil and Vale; communication companies such as Editora Abril, Folha de S. Paulo, Trip Editora and UOL; and culturally-linked organizations like
FILE (International Electronic Language Festival), Santa Marcelina Cultura and Sesc SP. To read more about these projects, browse through the menu at the side of the page.
